Over the years, I’ve designed products for different kinds of industries: real estate, healthcare, entertainment, finance, and a few others. Along the way I’ve used different tools, started with Adobe Flash (RIP), but now, I use a combination of tools, mostly Figma — and Cursor whenever I pretend I'm a front-end developer.
I’ve worked together with other talented designers, side by side with front-end and back-end engineers, product and project managers, adapting to different ways of working, with two shared goals in mind: Create experiences that make life easier for users while helping the business succeed.
I’m a graduated from Tecnológico de Monterrey with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Science. I started my career as a graphic designer. Back then I got the chance to got experience in print, promotional items, illustration, motion graphics... but digital projects are the ones that I really enjoy the most, so I focused my career on UX & UI design.
HomeLight as a Product Designer
(2025 - Today)
As an in-house product designer at HomeLight during the AI boom, I’ve been able to learn a thing here and there about it, and use it to optimize design and front-end workflows.
Some of my tasks have been: Reframed the design system, and built it into a living component library assisted by AI, mapped user flows, designed new features based on PM’s requirements, built production-ready prototypes, analyzed HotJar sessions to identify usability opportunities, designed landing pages, and collaborated across multiple internal products.
BYND as an Experience Design Lead
(2022 - 2025)
In BYND, I played a pivotal position in establishing the foundations of an internal product to boost productivity of designers and developers – A design system that served as a tool kit to speed up projects. I also contributed on refining design ops practices like: optimizing file management, and formalizing design documentation for more efficient handoffs to the dev. team.
My tasks also covered the following, for client’s projects: Defining user flows and customer journeys, facilitating user testing sessions, creating prototypes, designing micro-interactions, wire framing experiences, translating them into high-fidelity interfaces, and establishing the foundations of scalable UI libraries.
Wizeline as a Sr. UI Designer
(2019 - 2022)
I was part of Wizeline design team for 3 years, my work was focused on UI and Interaction Design throughout different projects: public websites, B2B and B2C products.
My duties were diverse: sketching, wire-framing, persona creation, supporting user testings, iconography design, illustration, story boarding for users’ scenarios, motion graphics, mentoring, among others.
Definity First as a UI/UX Designer
(2014 - 2019)
At Definity First my role covered tasks from the UX & UI spectrum, such as: creating user flows, making interviews with users & stakeholders, create prototypes, make illustrations for digital products or public websites, design icons for different needs, work on UI component’s sheets, design high fidelity mockups and hand off designs to the dev team.
