I’m Oliver González! I’ve been pushing pixels since 2014…

More than 10 years now, yikes!

Over the years, I’ve designed products for different kinds of industries: real estate, healthcare, entertainment, finance, and a few others.

Along the way I’ve used different tools, started with Adobe Flash (RIP), but now, I use a combination of tools, mostly Figma — and Cursor whenever I pretend I'm a front-end developer.

I’ve worked together with other talented designers, side by side with front-end and back-end engineers, product and project managers, adapting to different ways of working, with two shared goals in mind: Create experiences that make life easier for users while helping the business succeed.

So..

How do I work?

So..

How do I work?

I keep it simple

It’s hard for me to make sense of complicated systems or workflows, that’s why I work hard to map them out and turn them into easy-to-understand artifacts.

I ask, and ask, and ask...

I'm not going to lie—I sometimes feel like I'm asking too many questions. But as they say, there are no dumb questions... only expensive assumptions. Right?

I encourage feedback

Working remotely doesn’t mean working alone. I fight tunnel vision (and isolation...) by asking teammates for feedback. Teamwork makes the dream work.

I sweat the details

I say, "The devil is in the details" more often than I'd like to admit. The smallest UI tweaks can make the biggest difference, attention to detail delivers tailored, well-thought-out, and carefully crafted experiences.

I name layers

I know... probably no one cares. But I can't help it. It makes documentation, handoff, and even AI agents reading design files a whole lot easier.

Some of the brands I've worked for:

They look cool, don’t they?

If you've made it this far, we should probably talk. Whether it's about design, digital products, or your favorite Figma plugin, my inbox is open.

*I promise I’ll name my layers...
